望咩望 Pawn Shop Signage Keychain

望唔望 — “What are you looking at?” Said with a slight edge, a raised chin, and the unmistakable tone of someone who owns the pavement. Not quite a threat, not quite a question — just the classic Hong Kong street stare-down, distilled into three characters.
Shaped after the classic “Bat Holding a Coin” (福鼠吊金錢) — a traditional Chinese auspicious motif symbolising fortune and prosperity — this keychain recreates one of Hong Kong’s most recognisable street-level icons: the pawn shop sign (當舖招牌). Each piece features a Cantonese phrase rendered in bold, vertical style, just like the signs that have hung above neighbourhood pawn shops for generations.
Locally designed typefaces.
We offer 2 typeface styles, both created by local Hong Kong typeface designers. We hold commercial licences for both — supporting the local type design community while bringing authentic Hong Kong character to every piece.
Made entirely in-house.
Each keychain is laser engraved on acrylic, hand painted individually, and cut to size — all done completely by our own team. No outsourcing, no shortcuts.
